When a person heads out on a journey, whether it be a short trip or an extended vacation, they will need to make sure that their possessions back home are protected. This means that the person will need to take out an insurance policy that will protect their income so if something were to happen to them while they are traveling, they would not leave their loved ones without monetary compensation. When a person is looking to purchase income insurance, they will need to focus on getting an insurance policy that will provide enough income for their family in the event of their death.

There are many different types of policies that a person can choose from and all of them offer different benefits to the individual. When a person sits down with their insurance agent to get an income protection insurance quote they will need to make sure that the death benefit on their policy will be large enough to provide enough income to support all of their family for years to come. This means that when a person travels, they will not have to worry about their loved ones back home, because they know that they will be taken care off if they do not return from their trip. This also allows for the traveler to experience his or her trip to the fullest. He or she will not be bothered by being careful, and they will be able to take risks and truly enjoy themselves. This will make for a much more enjoyable trip and give the person an excellent platform from which to begin their traveling adventure.

Income insurance is an excellent idea for any person but especially for people with families. When you travel, there is a certain amount of inherent risk involved. This means that you will be taking your life in your own hands and that you run the risk of not returning. When you purchase income protection insurance you will mitigate this risk by having your income protected if something were to happen to you. This allows your family to be safe, your trip to be more enjoyable, and your overall quality of life to increase. This income insurance also allows you to prepare for any emergencies. Traveling is one potential cause of losing your life, but this could happen at any moment. This insurance allows a person to be protected for their future.

The state of Tasmania is located at the south east part of the continent and is separated from it, is the smallest state of Austalia having an area of approximately 67,800 sq.km. Some of the important cities in this state are: Hobart, Launceston, Richmond and Perth and at the north the towns of Burnie, Devonport, Stanley and Wynyard. Tasmania is a natural destination, with National Parks and green areas, the natural environment is unequalable.

The capital city is Hobart and the local goverment is settled here, the cities with more population in the state are Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. Macquarie Island is also under the control of Tasmania state.

The climate in Tasmania is very unpredictable, in summer, from December to February it’s not very hot with temperatures of approximately 21 ºC, this is because the state is located at the coldest part of the continent, and in winter, from June to August the temperature is about 12 ºC. The weather is warm and dry on the east coast, Tasmania has frequent rainfalls so be prepared if you want to visit it.

As some other cities, the state of Tasmania at first was known as a convict island, prisoners from Britain where brought here to make hard work. Tasmania is rich in minerals and the hydro-electric potential is ample but in the last years were constructed some artificial lakes to power hydro-electric stations.

As said, Tasmania is more a natural destination and has more hills than any other region in Australia, the environment here is very clean and beautiful, the highest peak is Mount Ossa with 1617 meters high. Some of the more atractive areas in this state are Huon Valley, Port Arthur and all the Tasman Peninsula. The lands are good for grazing, it produce a good soil and vegetables from different kind as well as fruits and potatoes.

In addition of its good lands Tasmania also has splendid beaches with beautiful resorts as Bicheno, Swansea and St. Helens, excellent for fishing and water sports. At the esatern part of Tasmania there are many glaciated valleys and that’s why this part of the state is called “the land of a thousand lakes”. The southwest part has been declared as a UNESCO’s World Heritage and is under a strict protection.

Rockhampton belongs to the Queensland region, and lies at the north of the Tropic of Capricorn. Was established in 1855 and is one of the oldest cities in Australia. The Queensland’s first Land Commissioner, Mr W. Wiseman was who named this city as Rockhampton. The city grew up because of the many gold discoveries around it and the grazing, mining, farming and meat processing industries also helped in the city development.

One of Rockhampton bests is its architecture, which is captured in many of the buildings as the post office, the cathedrals, the banks and others. Quay Street is one of the typical streets in the city, its situated near the Fitzroy river and has fantastic views.

The territory where is now the city was once occupied by Darumbal aboriginal people, europeans came here in 1853, looking for good lands and the Fitzroy river meant a waterway for ships so many people came here and the settlement grew up. Rockhampton was proclaimed in 1858, October 25 and the first council, John Palmer, was elected in 1861. During the secon World War Rockhampton became a US army base.

The economy in Rockhampton depends on the industrial companies of the city, but lately the tourism has become an important way of incomes. In General all Central Queensland is more visited now by tourists from many parts of the world.
The weather is generally very hot in summer and winters are not very cold, but it’s extremely hot, more than the other cities in Queensland region.

Melbourne is the second largest city in Australia, and is the capital city of Victoria region, always in competition with Sydney in different areas such as sport and economy. Melbourne is located near the Yarra River and sometime was the main city in Australia. Is called the Marvelous Melbourne for its unique environment, it has it all, modern buildings, beautiful beaches and can be said is the most cultural city in the country, gives a lot of importance to the sports and here is realized the famous Australian Tennis Open, the Melbourne Cup and the Australian Grand Prix.

Melbourne can be considered the world’s largest cities in area having approximately 6110 sq.km., has many gardens and parks which occupy the third part of this area.

The city was founded in 1835 by John Batman, and its name is in honor of Viscount Melbourne, William Lamb, during the British occupation of Victoria. Since then Melbourne began to grow as a city and commercial centre on the north end of Port Phillip. The first magistrate in this city was Captain William Lonsdale, who came from Sydney to stablish the order and law.

In 1847 Melbourne was declared as a city by Queen Victoria, and in 1850 with the gold discovery the city turned into the major port of Victoria region, the Melbourne’s hustle and bustle was incredible then, with ships from all over the world arriving here, in 1854 the population increased in almost four times its number and the city development was obvious and more industries services were implanted, with all of this Melbourne became the main financial centre in all Australia.

Because of the gold rushes Melbourne received many migrants from many parts of the world, specially from Italy, Greece, Poland, Turkey, Yugoslavia and Vietnam, all of this contributed to make of Melbourne a very special and varied city, with traditions of many different ways, and this mixture can also be seen in the restaurants, architecture and festivals.

Newcastle is located in the New South Wales region, at the mouth of the Hunter River – named like this in honor to the New South Wales’ Governor, John Hunter – and has become the main city in this region. Is the second oldest city in Australia and the seventh largest one. This city has as main industrial factor the coal export, actually it’s the largest coal export harbour all over the world.

Newcastle is at the north of Sydney, and is many times compared with it, has all what a surfer will dream, a lot of good beaches and sand, and incredible waves. Sometime ago all the buildings in this city were covered with soot because of the coal export but now they look clean and elegant, it can be say that the main entertaiment avenue was once an old wharf.

This city was founded in 1804 by convicts, as some other cities in Australia, who had no better idea that founding a city next to a river, territory which was occupied by aboriginal people in the pre-european time. Coal export helped a lot on the development of this city and the nearness of mines, where the worst and dangerous criminal where send to work, attracted the introduction of many heavy industries as the production of steel that finished on 2000.

The city was partially restored after the eartquake of 1989 where many buildings came down and the damage in the business district was very big, it was the worst earthquake in Australia and some people died.

Launceston is the second largest city in Tasmania and the third oldest city in Australia, it dates back to Celtic times and was founded in 1804. Located in the beautiful Tamar Valley region and at 198 km from Hobart, 98 km from Devonport and 63 km from Scottsdale, Launceston is the main administrative centre of northern Tasmania.

Hobart is the capital city of Tasmania, a very appealing and old city to visit, the city attractions as its wonderful harbor and the colonial cottages give Hobart a special atmosphere and elegant appearance. To Hobart’s harbor arrive a great number of yatchs from all over the world only comparable to Sydney’s Harbour.

Hobart’s history began when Lietenant John Bowen make the city the Australian’s second oldest capital city and was known as Hobart Town or Hobarton, the name is because of Lord Hobart, Secretary of State for War and the Colonies at the time of its settlement. As the time passed by Hobart become an important base for the British Navy, the dock of Hobart was used for the shipment of materials and new docks were constructed in Salamanca Place in the mid 19th century and was in this century that Hobart continued to grow, thanks in particular to considerable influxes of population after the two world wars. Hobart was proclaimed a town only in 1842 and many ships and buildings were constructed of the pioneering period and are still preserved.

More of the cities in Tasmania were used as penal colonies, Hobart was known for its agriculture and forestry development. Nowadays the port of Hobart is less industrious but more touristic, the city hosts many industries of Tasmania including a high-speed catamaran factory and a zinc smelter, as well as a vibrant tourist industry, the main University of Tasmania is located here and also the major financial and government institurions of the State.

Hobart is closer to the Antarctic coast than it is to Perth in Western Australia; navigators, whalers, and explorers have long regarded it as the gateway to the south. Has a population of about 250,000 inhabitants, a very small city compared with the rest of main cities in Australia.
